Katy Alexander MOTR/L, CAS
Katy Alexander is an occupational therapist with 10 years of dedicated experience serving children and families. She holds a master’s degree in occupational therapy and has worked across a wide range of settings, including outpatient hand therapy, acute rehabilitation, outpatient pediatrics, and the public school system.
As a Certified Autism Specialist, Katy has extensive expertise in supporting children with autism spectrum disorder and pediatric sensory processing challenges. She also places a strong focus on primitive reflex integration, helping children build the neurological foundations that support motor coordination, attention, emotional regulation, and academic readiness.
Her diverse background has given her a deep understanding of both the medical and educational needs of children, allowing her to bridge the gap between clinical therapy and functional skills in everyday life. She is passionate about empowering children to reach their fullest potential through play, meaningful activities, and individualized interventions.
Katy believes in collaborating closely with families, educators, and community partners to ensure that every child has the opportunity to thrive. Outside of her professional practice, she is committed to advancing awareness and education about sensory needs, reflex integration, and autism within her community—striving to create more inclusive environments where all children feel safe, supported, and capable.
